The Hunt
Midnight sky
Moon bright as sun
Howls of wolves
Mark paths run
Coat of red
Eyes like fire
Mark suducing sweet desire
Pack draws close
Of wolves that chase
To kill the werefox
Who would trap decendants of
Adam and Eve
Serpant replaced by furred
temptress
To lead one astray
But the wolves are wrong
This creature means no harm
To those who no nothing of
her plight
She hunts one similar of
those who hunt her
A slayer of fox kits,
murderer of the helpless
Monster werewolf that would
kill a fellow were
Red streak and white tip run
Gun shot shatters air
Wolves no longer follow
The vixen pants
A pillar of streangth
Inside shivering in terror
A pack could rip her apart
Like a chew toy for dragons
But safe now she calms down
Fur dissapears to be replaced
by smooth skin
Bronzed by hot tropic suns
Glowing eyes dim to a deep
brown
Vixen turned vision of exotic
beauty
Steps out from the forest to
meet her savior
Tall and pale hunter with the
gun
Little does she know
He is the one she seeks
Killer of her final litter
Before she can learn
Before a mother’s rage can
revenge
The hunter smiles more
seductive than the fox
Sweet smile
Laced with trust
Masking what’s within
The thanks of the fox:
“You’ve saved my life, how
can I repay?”
Hunter’s smile, sweet as can
be
“With your own.”
Another shot shatters
stillness
This time piercing a heart
Stilling a life
Hunter smile drops all
sweetness
Murderuss intent done
All for the sake of territory
Hatred of differet species
runs deep in him
No regret for killing the
last werefox
Making them in this landspace
All
But
Extinct
