Minding my own business biking along Zipping by a driveway Truck pulling out It hits me The truck actually hit me Shook me up Nothing hit like that before A few hours later in the room for emergencies They list me under trauma Urgent care In shock for the day I didn’t care I was still glad Thanking God with all my soul I walked from that accident With beating heart and no broken bones Hurt for a week but I’m still here God’s saved my skin, agian All the times I recklessly zipped across streets Not watching where I was going He was there with me all the time Yes he was there when I got hit He’s the reason I’m alive This is no joke Life is no game And you’re not guaranteed to play Just as easy I could’ve been gone It’s a war out there and a war in here What side are you on? You have to choose Someone who can’t wait to see you in pain? Or a loving God who’s there for you? Beside you and watching over you? I don’t know why people would choose the one that hates them But that’s the default unless you switch obligations My life will never be the same I need to know this love Before the next thing that hits me takes me out for good There’s no time to waist and no time to play church I’m truly pursuing God now. Are you?
