My Faith

            I am dedicated
            Steadfast and sure
            My direction pre-planned and strait
            I follow Christ
            Wherever He may lead

            I am covered in the armor of God
            My sword the Holy Bible
            I keep with me for reference
            Looking as needed
            For most of it is engraved on my heart

            The helmet of salvation is planted firmly on my head
            The mark that I am not who I once was
            The promise I have in Christ
            That I am saved from the fiery lake
            That has been destined for the fallen angles and those they deceive

            The truth is wrapped around me like a belt
            The breastplate of righteousness protects my front
            Keeping me inline with what the Lord desires
            My feet are prepared by the gospel
            Ready to cross any rocky terrain required

            The shield of  faith I always carry with me into battle
            Quenching the fiery darts of the enemy
            The enemy who has hated mankind since we were created
            The archenemy of the lead angles
            The fallen angle once known as Lucifer

            With all this armor and a steady relationship with Christ who can fail?
            There is no armor for the back
            For those parts are protected by the glory of God himself
            It is already written that those in Christ have victory
            The end is already set in stone
