Isaiah 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. The standard these days is usually the way we do things. In bible times it was a bannar that people raised in battle. The Isrealites raised a bannar agianst their enimies it had on it the word of God for them for that moment. Jeremiah 50:2 Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces. The -Spirit- of the Lord will raise a standard, not neccisarrily the Lord himself. That means since we have the Spirit of the Lord in us we must raise a srandard. We must speak the word of God agianst the enimies that come agianst us. Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not:
